NATURE TRAIL: ONE Sycamore (T1)(ht.14m) FELL. Reason: large cavity that compromises the integrity of the stem, health & safety issues. Reason: health & safety, PICUS investigation following sounding mallet concern, confirms large internal cavity across the stem, high target risk by path. Another native tree will be planted as a replacement, PICUS report recommends a suitable large tree species as replacement.CENTRAL: ONE Oak (T48)(ht.12m) HEIGHT REDUCE by 6m from 12m to a 6m monolith. Informative B: the felled stem of Lime T44 is encouraged to be left on the ground in the meadow to inform the carbon cycle, importance for wildlife and biodiversity, and if possible retain safe standing monolith of dead sycamore T61 with creation of habitat log piles with arisings.
