Description

EIA Screening Opinion for upgrade works to be undertaken on land which includes the existing WWTW. The work includes the construction and installation of a series of new components and upgrading existing infrastructure at the site consisting of the following permanent works; raise coping & weir at inlet chamber, raising the syphon chamber coping levels, installation of ferric dosing and natural coagulant dosing storage chambers, installation of a below surface chemical bund, construction of a Motor Control Centre (MCC) kiosk, construction of a temporary works laydown area, installation of concrete slab foundations to support two air mixing blowers, increase the size of the humus tank outlet opening, installation of connecting pipework and installation of a new outfall pipe alongside the existing outfall increasing diameter from 150mm to 300mm (north of site)
