Tree 1 - Taxus baccata Tree 1 is a mature Taxus baccata with a singular stem and fairly well balanced crown. Proposed works for this tree is a 1-1.5 metre reduction across the full canopy to limit root growth due to concerns of damages being caused to property. Roots have been found in very close proximity to the house and also a brick has been cracked on the very bottom corner of front profile of house, which can only be assumed is being caused by damage from roots to the property. Furthermore there is a large underground drain within fairly close proximity to the tree (3-4M) which there are concerns over potential future damage.
