Application Details
Description
The application is to remove three tall leylandii trees (indicated as 1,2,3 on the sketch plan) which are situated at the far end of the back garden. Permission is required because the property is in Castlecroft Gardens which is a designated Conservation Area.Removal of the trees would provide space to erect a small shed for which I have already obtained local authority permission. Furthermore the trees are unsightly, block sunlight from the rest of the garden and might also pose a potential hazard of being blown over in high winds.Laurel bushes have already been planted beyond the trees to form a screening hedge in time. The work to be carried out has been discussed with Clifford Webb who visited the site on 4th November 2025.
