T21 (Marked by red dot on attached plan) - Copper Beech - Crown reduce by no more than 2.5 metres of radial spread and height by no more than 3 metres. Reducing from overall spread of approximately 18m to 15m, ad height of approximately 17.5 metres to 14.5. Reason: - Tree has basal decay caused by ongoing Ganoderma sp. fungal infection. investigations has shown internal decay to be at a point where stem failure is possible. The works are required in order to comply with the City Council's statutory and common law duty of care as Highway Authority.
