Description

Height reduction of 48 Ilex aquifolium (approx. 50% of total woodland Ilex) to approx. 1m in woodland area to increase light levels for additional tree and shrub planting (Hazel, Sweet Chestnut, Small Leaved Lime, Field Maple) and wildflower/bulb planting (Primrose, Snowdrop, Bluebells). 10 in "green" zone; 4 in "yellow" zone; 21 in "pink" zone; 13 in "blue" zone.Majority of hollies are immature and at max stem diameter at 1m height of 150mm. Work will also include reduction of large multi stemmed Prunus laurocerasus.
