APPLICATION FOR WORKS TO PROTECTED TREE(S) TPO-0018-1968 W1 (mixed trees) – To remove lower limbs of larger Holly trees, or parts thereof, which encroach on the permitted footpath through the Copse. To trim limbs of Holly, or parts thereof (with girth >100mm), that prevent users from sitting on the benches provided in the Copse, particularly beside the seasonal pond. To lay an area of hawthorn hedge (approximately 50 yards) on the Greensward Road boundary. Reason for Works: To improve the experience of the Copse, some areas are difficult to pass through on the path and we wish to avoid the problem of users creating alternative routes. To also allow more light into the pond area and allow more species to thrive there.
