Notification for works to trees in a Conservation Area T1 (Evergreen) – remove to ground level T2 (Birch) - prune secondary and tertiary scaffolds only, removing no more than a maximum of 3m in length, maintain the canopy shape of the tree as it was prior to pruning. T3 (Ash) – removal of Ash tree and replacing it with a smaller, more appropriate species, such as a Rowan (Sorbus aucuparia). Reason for Works: Trees are overgrown and obstructing light, unnecessary shading to garden of neighbouring properties, T3 in particular has also outgrown the space it occupies, making ongoing maintenance increasingly difficult and presents a logistical challenge long term.
