SECTION 211 NOTIFICATION FOR WORKS IN A CONSERVATION AREA G1, Mixed Species - Remove dead stems from ivy clad hazel to approx. 500mm from ground level; maintain clearance of lower branches over the driveway to a height of approx. 4.5m from ground level and 0.5m from kerb line. G2, Mixed Species - Prune back low branches in contact with the wall, fence to maintain a clearance of up to 1.0m where possible; prune low branches over paths to statutory height of 2.5m from ground level; prune branches over property roof to achieve a clearance of approx. 1.5m, targeting secondary points of pruning (approx. 1.5m lateral growth); remove Elder growing close to the fence and treat stump. G3, Mixed Species - Reduce tops of the Yew by approx. 2.0m from highest apical tip; trim face next to the driveway; top Beech to points of previous pruning by removing approx. 3.0m in height to leave a finished height of approx. 2.5m from ground level; trim side lateral growth on the garden side. T1, Ash - Remove lowest x 2 branches growing over the vicarage roof to source; prune branches above the vicarage to maintain a clearance of approx. 2.0m from the roof by pruning back to secondary points of pruning. G4, Mixed Species - Prune back low branches in contact with the fence to source; prune overhanging branches back to party line along entire group, to the tops of the plants; remove Elder and rose growing on the vicarage side of the fence; prune back remaining Elders back to party line and away from the fence; prune Elder to clear BT cable. T37, Horse Chestnut - Remove chestnut growing next to the fence to approx. 50mm from ground level. T38, Ash - Remove major and moderate deadwood; prune secondary branch to reduce potential notch stress by drop crotch pruning longer lower branches (see photo). T39, Lime - Raise low branches to approx. 4.0m by removing branch over shed and x 2 over neighbouring fence to source; remove x 2 low branches towards the Ash to source; raise remaining branches to approx. 4.0m from ground level by targeting secondary points of pruning; remove basal epicormic and elder. T2, Indian Chestnut - Reduce limb to the Southwest growing towards the Lime, by approx 3.0m of lateral growth; remove elders from basal area. T45, Sycamore - Reduce regrowth where squirrel damage is compromising structural integrity; remove moderate and major deadwood; maintain statutory clearance over the tow path. G5, 8 x Yew, Hazel - Maintain statutory height clearance of 2.5m over the tow path; remove moderate and major deadwood over the tow path; remove cluster of hazel in the corner of the chain-link & wooden fence. T43, Sycamore - Remove major and moderate deadwood from over the footpath. T42, Sycamore - Remove major and moderate deadwood. G6, Laurel, Yew - Prune to maintain a clearance of approx. 1.0m from the fence where possible; this will not include whole tree removal unless stems are less than 75mm in diameter; maintain statutory height clearance over public footpath. T47, Sycamore - Remove some lower understory laurels to achieve a clearance of approx. 2.0m from the base of the tree. T3, Sycamore - Remove sycamore and identified laurel stem.
