Description

Remove all dead standing trees and deadwood where necessary along existing/proposed pathways. Fell large ash tree near Meadow End property (agreed with James Veats) and other ash with significant dieback. Selective removal of conifers and elms in poor health or inhibiting regeneration. Thin approx. 40% of saplings, holly and laurel to improve woodland structure and pathway access. Coppice hazel stools, removing limbs 40mmto increase light levels and encourage growth.
