Description

1. Removal of combustible insulation, cladding materials and all associated non-compliant supporting structures that are not to meet the requirements of the British Standards and Approved Document B of the Building Regulations with regards to fire spread and combustibility - Remove and replace with a minimum A2-S1,d0 rated insulated external wall cladding. 2. Removal and reinstallation of the existing retained cladding system, in order to interface the new cladding system to ensure compartmentation fire barriers are installed and good detailing, particularly for BSR sign off. 3. Extend existing feature cladding system down to ground floor using colour match Rockpanel panelised cladding system to entrance pod, including upgrading with new Rockwool insulation. Allow for replacing existing metal frame where corroded. 4. New Rockpanel panelised cladding system to entrance pod, including upgrading with new Rockwool insulation. 5. New brick slip cladding to ground floor, including upgrading with new Rockwool insulation, achieving 0.32W/m2K (no worse/compliant). 6. Allowance for replacing the existing roof parapet capping, to accommodate changes in the EWI insulation thickness. 7. Adaptation of existing ducts, adding new metal fire rated sleeving and new ventilation grilles and covers to all existing services which pass through the new cladding system. 8. Replacement of the existing windows with new double glazed uPVC windows to new 2023 Part L standard (Part Retrospective)
