Description

1. Removal of female ginkgo tree in front garden. The tree is not fit for purpose and is too big for the location. It is lifting the front lawn and driveway brickwork, is too close to the house, telegraph wires and is negatively effecting the magnolia tree immediately next to it. Worst of all it emits a foul, strong odour from its yellow fruit (seeds), which ends up dropping on the car and all over the drive and which, in turn, is subsequently trodden on by children and adults getting to and from the car. The smell gets into the air system of our car, which is parked underneath the tree. The smell is frequently described as being similar to vomit or dog excrement which I can concur! I would like to replace the tree with a native silver birch to match the neighbours front tree which I believe would be a lot more appropriate in terms of size and setting. 2. Removal of Norway maple tree.
