I am writing on behalf of St Peter and St Paul, Hambledon, Hants.We have a holly tree, approx 5m tall, that we would like to cut back. It is situated just inside the Conservation Area.I have included a number of photos from north and south. In the view from the south, you can see yew, walnut, holly, and larch.The lower part of the holly comprises three trunks, each about 20cm in width.The proposal would be to prune the holly back quite hard, possibly down to the first fork in the branches and thus encouraging and maintaining shrubby growth to improve the visual aspect.
