NMA to 21/01731/REMThis NMA application proposes the following changes: Removal of the play area in residential central open space.Enhanced play area in the main public open space with benches, picnic tables, bins and additional landscaping. The toddler play area is fenced with a 1.2m post and rail fence as this is for younger children. The main LEAP is not fenced as this is for older children and is a sufficient distance away from Sun Lane. A ROSPA Assessment has been undertaken to ensure health and safety. Landscaping and trees are proposed between Sun Lane and the play area to prevent direct access to Sun Lane. Removal of the trim trail fitness equipment and replaced with animal sculptures, boulders, stepping posts, musical stations and picnic benches. Updated tree plan to show trees retained and removedEnhancement of the BMX track to provide more turns and jumps. Redistribution of footpaths around the public open space to improve desire lines and coordinate with levels on the site. We are also seek to amend the condition 2 and 13 of the reserved matter approval.
