Common beech (Fagus sylvatica) - Tall mature specimen part of a group of similar trees. This one has some historic wounding at the base but more significantly, at approximately 4 m is a fungal fruiting body consistent with Ganoderma species emanating from the trunk just above a historic pruning wound. There is also another smaller bracket just under a metre above it. Tree is over parking area. Recommendations - Remove tree
