Application Details
Description
The largest, most westerly Oak (T3) is about 20m tall/1.2m in diameter. It suppresses within its own crown, the smaller, slightly more easterly (T2) Oak, which is about 12m tall/0.6m in diameter. T1 is the most easterly positioned Oak, measuring about 15m tall/0.9m in diameter. We wish to crown-lift all 3, by way of tip-pruning, with small diameter pruning cuts, ideally being less than 40mm, up to 6m from the ground, so as to be far more proportionate for the sizes of the tree/alleviate the branches' overhang of the new property's (approximate) 3m to 3.5m high roof (as the present ground slopes). Epicormic growth would be removed from all 3 trees, also up to 6m from the ground. All such work would be in order to create a 2m clearance from the new building's roofline (or for improved vehicular access), with the tip-pruning being up to 2m on trees T3 & T1, & up to 1.5m on tree T2, all being back to appropriate growth points. All 3 will be dead-wooded at the same time.
