Description

Removal of 5 Fir Pine trees, that I believe were Xmas type trees planted in our garden before we moved in 22 years ago. We have landscaped the end of our garden, which is around 100 feet long and built 10 raised beds to grow our own vegetables and also had a greenhouse built for growing fruit and vegetables and seedings. The 5 trees are very close together and the pigeons often sit in the trees and then the vegetable beds get covered in their faeces. Our dogs have been ill several times as they have eaten the poo that is frequently dropped on the ground by the pigeons. As they are at the top of our garden and it can get very windy, they drop hundreds of needles and cones into the vegetable beds and onto the greenhouse. We love our garden and in particular the 4 existing well developed trees we have in the middle of it. We have also planted 6 apple and pear trees at the end of the garden across from the Fir Pine Trees, so we love nature, gardening and the environment but feel these trees offer nothing in keeping with the conservation area and will just continue to grow taller every year.
