Description

This is a retrospective application to regularise my Air Source Heat Pump installation. The system was installed in August 2022, but due to the 18KW power requirement it was recommended that two pumps each of 9KW be fitted rather than a hard to obtain single 18KW unit. It has now been brought to my attention that only a single pump is allowed under permitted development and that the second pump requires planning approval. This application is to therefore cover the second air source heat pump that forms a part of the existing installation. The installations is MCS Ceritfied and a government grant awarded. The certificate possibly erroneously stated that it was a permitted development
