Description

the lime, tree 22 in attached report from 21st April 2022, has significantly altered. The north side now sounds decayed in the sapwood. The east (compression) side sounds normal. The south side remains decayed. The west (tension) side now sounds decayed in the sapwood. Due to the use of the site and the adjacent highway to the east, I recommend that the tree is felled as a high priority (to be complete within 1 month if feasible subject to highways and contractor availability). Due to the extent of decay, I do not believe that there would be any significant sufficient remaining material for a reduction or pollard. Tree to be felled to 3m stump (Amended)
