T1 - Oak - Crown reduce / retrenchment back to live growth points ( marked in blue on photo )Reasoning - 90% of the crown outside the blue line is dead, branches have been dropping off regularly, especially during winter season, i would advise reducing back to blue line to try to maintain the tree for as long as possible and to prevent any damage to walkers below. Failure to reduce could result in property damage, injury or larger branches falling could potentially damage what lower part of the tree is alive at this time. Oak tree to be reduce by approx 3.5 meters in height.Oak tree to be reduced by approx 2 meters on lateral branches. Finished height of 8 meters. Finished spread of 7 meters. 80% of the crown we are asking to reduce is actually dead. So the application is to be able to prune back the alive branches that are left after the deadwood removal to make it a more appealing shape. (Amended)
