Description

We recently obtained permission (Decision Notice 23/01112/TPC - Flat 1, 54 Hyde Street, Winchester) to remove a dead branch from and prune this tree. Now we have realised the tree looks sick with fungus and no bark near base. Sap is attracting large numbers of wasps and hornets. Mark Merritt saw it today, says it has bacterial wet wood and needs to come down. We have a wedding reception in the garden on 2 September and request urgent permission to fell.
