Description

1559T5 - Lime tree. This application is for the tree to be re-pollarded. It has clearly been pollarded in the past but has now outgrown its form and location with new branch growth unsuited to their neighbouring trees and location very close to a building. Pollarding works have just completed to all the other trees on this and surrounding roads, but these trees were accidentally excluded from those works. It is now therefore an anomaly on the road, even though they are of like type and nature to the neighbouring trees. Pollarding will restore the trees to their previous state and bring them into keeping with the other trees outside properties along this road. (Conservation area notice to be submitted for tree 2-5.)
