Description

Suggested pruning on 18 Beech trees to address encroachment of branches towards the surgery building and to allow pedestrian and vehicular access bordering the site.T1 - Crown lift to 4.0m above ground level. Reduce limbs to clear building by 2.5/3.0m. Minor pruning to reduce overhanging branches over the neighbouring garage.T2 - Crown lift to 4.0m above ground level. Reduce branch tips of various limbs to clear building by 2.5/3.0m. Minor pruning to reduce overhanging branches over the neighbouring garage.T4 - Crown lift to 4.0m above ground level. Reduce branch tips of various limbs to clear building by 2.5/3.0mT5 - (Skinny tree) Crown lift to 4.0m above ground level. Remove 3” (76mm) diameter pendulous limb and 3” (76mm) diameter limb above back to suitable growthpoint by appx 50%.T6 - Remove lowest 3” (76 mm) diameter pendulous limb and tip reduce elongated limbs growing towards the building back to suitable growth points by approximately50%.T7 - Crown lift to 4.0m above ground level. Remove 4/5” (100-127mm) diameter branches growing towards the building.T8 - (Skinny tree) - Crown lift to 4.0m above ground level.T9 - (Skinny tree) - Remove lowest 4” (100mm) diameter limb growing towards the building.T10 - Crown lift to 4.0m above ground level. Remove 2 lowest 4/5” (100-127mm) diameter limbs. Minor pruning to reduce overhanging branches over the neighbouring garage.T11 – (bird nest in tree) Remove 2nd and 3rd 2 to 3” (76mm) diameter lowest limbs. Minor pruning to reduce overhanging branches over the neighbouring garage.T12 – Reduce low limb by 1/3 back to suitable growth points. Minor pruning to reduce overhanging branches over the neighbouring garage.T13 – Crown lift to 4.0m above ground level.T14 – Crown lift to 5.0m over road. Remove 8” (200mm) diameter limb back to suitable pruning position on stem and limb above back to main fork and extend partof the same limb back to 1st or 2nd growth point.T15 – (hanger in tree) – Crown lift to 4.0m above ground level & to 5.0m over road. Remove lowest 5” (130mm) diameter limb over surgery lawn. Reduce 6” (150 mm)diameter limb above by 1/3. Remove hanger.T16 – Crown lift to 4.0m above ground level. Remove sub-limb 2” diameter(50mm) back to main branch.T17 – Shorten 6” (150mm) diameter back by 50%. Shorten low 2” (50mm) limb by 1.4. Crown lift to 3.2m over adjacent path.T18 – (tri-stemmed tree) Crown lift to 3.2 metres over path. Remove low 6” (150mm) diameter limb over path back to suitable growth point on stem. Remove 6” (150mm)diameter limb over shed. Reduce 4” (100mm) diameter limb growing in the direction of fence and over small Beech tree by 50% back to suitable growth point.All branches would be taken back to suitable pruning positions.
