Description

An additional treatment facility is being installed at Wessex Water's Chitterne Water Treatment Centre under permitted development works. A new underground water main is required to facilitate the treatment improvements in the adjacent road. Due to the proliferation of other services on the existing water treatment site the main will be installed through open cut methods necessitating removal of 2 x 6 metres of hedgerow.
