Application Details
Description
T1 - Cherry tree encroaching toilet block to be crown lifted by 1m and have select encroaching branches reduced to clear toilet building by 1m. T2 - Holly with intertwining ash branches growing through canopy - ash limb to be reduced by 3m to property boundary to prevent further encroachment - holly to receive 0.5-1m crown raise.T3 - Large cypress adjacent to property northern boundary suffered major branch failure, failed/failing limbs to be removed back to appropriate pruning points, crown to be inspected for further failure points/decline.T4 - Large yew on eastern boundary encroaching on gravestones. overhanging branches to be cut back 1-1.5m to the grass boundary , large elder growing in the yew canopy to be removed.G1 - 4 Ivy laden yews surrounding grave – Ivy sever live growth. Reduce overhanging branches by 1-3m depending on how the limbs lift once ivy weight has been removed, the aim of the pruning is to return the yew to a uniform shape after they have been laden with substantial ivy growth that has lowered the limbs. Removal of elders & brambles amongst the yews.G2- Group of ash & sycamore on southern boundary – encroaching branches from The Crown Inn’s trees to be crown lifted to 4m to reduce encroachment on memorial trees & selected lower to be cut back by 3m to boundary to reduce competition to memorial trees, ash to have single encroaching limb reduced by 5m to main ash stem as tree shows signs of ash dieback and no suitable pruning points are present so a reduction to main stem is preferable as leaving a stub cut limb will result in exacerbated symptoms of epicormic growth/decay. Self seeded sycamore sapling to be removed.
