Description
Juglans Nigra (T1) - Sensitively reduce limbs with historic wounds on up to 2 meters. Reduce weight to reduce risk of limb failure at fault points. This is an historic tree planted in the 1800's by William Henry Fox Talbot (WHFT) that need work done to preserve the tree for the future.Tilia x europaea (T2) - Large historic cavity on main stem 12 ft from ground level. Phased reduction to manage the decline and the compromised main stem. First reduction to reduce height by 4 meters and overextending lateral limbs by 3 meters. This tree is next to a main visitor route so this needs to be done for health and safety reasons.Ilex aquifolium (T3) - Removal to open up views through to the parkland from the drive.Ilex aquifolium (T4) - Removal to open up views through to the parkland from the drive.Ilex x altaclerensis 'Hodginsii' (T5) - Removal due to it encroaching on a significant Prunus 'Kanzan' that is believed to have been planted by WHFT and also to open up views through to the parkland from the drive.Prunus domestica 'Victoria' (T6) - Removal due to its poor shape, form and health. To be replaced by a Malus sp. to reinstate the grid planting of the orchard.Prunus domestica 'Victoria' (T7) - Removal due to its poor shape, form and health.
