Description

Refurbishment of existing two-storey side extension to facilitate its use an annexe. Existing gable ends on annexe to be stripped and reclad with treated larch, lapped timber planking. Repairs to existing flat roof. Installation of conservation rooflights; other changes to fenestration and door; removal of internal walls, at first floor and replaced with new stud walls, incorporating insulation; removal of existing steel beams and replacement with new in revised steel truss arrangement; exposed joists and insertion of wall plate, removal of staircase and the stair void filled in; and changes to masonry.
