Description

The proposed re-surfacing of the Oare House Tennis Court will require a new brick edging to be laid. A program of the works to be carried out by the contractor is attached (OARE_65-TENNIS-PROGRAM). These works will require cutting tree roots, no greater than 40mm, from six 1920'S Common Lime trees located to the west of the court along Rudge Lane. The roots to be cut are located within a gravel channel surrounding the tennis court as shown on plan OARE_65-TENNIS-03. An estimated percentage of root sizes affected is detailed in OARE_65-TENNIS-TREE-ROOTS-TABLE-1. The percentage of each tree's RPA affected by the works is shown on plan OARE_65-TENNIS-05. Finally, the location of the proposed root protection for the site access is shown on plan OARE_65-TENNIS-04
