Application Details
Description

T1 - Plum (dead tree) - As this tree has now completely died and is covered in Phellinus pomaceus fruiting bodies, the recommended works are to remove the crown whilst retaining the main stem and some secondary limbs up to approx. 2 - 2.5 metres above ground level to encourage habitat. T2 - Ash - Remove all dead and dying branches only. T3 + T4 - Ash x 2 - Remove all dead and dying branches. Thin the crowns by no more than 10% by removing small branches no larger than 30mm in diameter. Reduce 1 x low limb to the south from T4 to lessen the loading forces on the branch union where decay and woodpecker holes are present by no more than 2 metres from the branch end. T5 - Norway Maple - Medium size tree which has lost a large limb in the upper canopy and has become suppressed by surrounding mature trees. Fell tree in section to ground level to allow more space for the surrounding trees.
