T1 Lime tree, In order to maintain the tree’s form, my advice would be that the previous pruning points are thinned, with the upright growth with the best attachment points retained and reduced. This will reduce the sail effect and minimise the likelihood of individual failure, the lower canopy may require a light reduction to balance the tree’s shape.
