Application Details
Description
Following consultation with multiple local tree surgeons:1. Reduce a Yew tree by around 30%, maintaining/reinstating the proper shape of the tree.2. Thin out a Horse Chestnut tree, specifically removing some knotted and overlapping branches, to keep it disease-free and healthy (we have been advised not to reduce its height, as it will just grow up higher with un-natural thin shoots).3. Prune all the Apple and Crab Apple trees, some of which are very overgrown, in the garden to the east of the house4. Remove one Apple tree to the west of the house, by the garage, and replace it with a cherry blossom tree just inside the boundary of the west garden (this particular apple tree is frequently damaged by delivery vans snapping off branches as they drive past in the very narrow lane. The tree also drops apples all over the lane which then get mashed by passing vehicles).5. Remove some overhanging branches, with the owners permission where appropriate, on our eastern and southern borders which hang so low they restrict garden access for lawn mowing, get damaged by passing vehicles in the lane, and so on.
