Silver Birch - Remove 2 lowest branches on the garden side back to source. Cherry - Reduce crown height by approximately 2.5m back to suitable growth points. - Prune laterals commensurate with the height to retain a natural form. Plum - Remove the stem over the lane. Bay - Reduce crown by approximately 2m around the perimeter of the canopy Ash - Remove deadwood. Ash - Remove deadwood. Beech - Lift crown over the lane to a height of 5m above ground level, by removing branch tips only back to suitable growth points. Oak - Reduce lateral spread away from the house by approximately 2m back to suitable growth points. - Remove deadwood. Oak - Remove deadwood. Lime - Lift crown over the driveway to a height of 5m above ground level, by removing branch tips only back to suitable growth points. All pruning cuts must be made at suitable branch junctions, leaving sufficient live growth to maintain or enhance crown form.
