Description

The Beech tree marked T1 on the plan has a Ganoderma bracket fungus at the base, this was first recorded in 2016, but has been growing for some time previous to this. After a Tomograph was carried out, it shows the tree has extensive advanced decay which would affect the structural integrity of the tree. As the tree is close to our house, a busy road and a primary school, if it were to fall, due to the size of the tree it would cause considerable damage and potentially loss of life. As recommended by the Arboriculturist, we would like to fell the tree as soon as possible. T2 is a healthy Beech tree with a good shape and would benefit from the extra light/space.
