Description

T1. Mature yew tree. Height 5 metres, crown spread 6 metres. This tree is growing at the rear of a plot of land directly to the right of 11, Ferndale Street , and immediately to the left of Skinners Lane. The plot of land was formerly the site of a warehouse, now demolished. The land is now owned by a property development company who are converting the site into a parking area for the adjacent newly developed property. The tree substantially overhangs this site. The proposed work is intended to reduce the overhang to the new parking area, and reduce its overall dominance and shading to this area, giving easier access for parked vehicles. Reduce crown of tree by approximately 25%, removing branch ends of around 1 metre in length, leaving pruning cuts of 30mm max, ensuring the tree maintains a natural and balanced shape. Raise crown to 3 metres.
