Description

T1. Mature copper beech tree. Height 10 metres, crown spread 7 metres. This is a large mature tree which has not been pruned for many years. It has now grown to a size where it is out of proportion with the size of garden that it occupies, and overly dominant and shading for the owner and the neighbours. Proposed work is to reduce the crown size by approximately 20%, removing branch ends of one to two metres in length, leaving pruning cuts of 50mm maximum, and maintaining a natural shape to the tree.
