Description

Further to previous consent for tree works ref: PP08971396 of 10/8/2020 which permitted the reduction by 50% and pruning to reduce shade of 9 Western Red Cedar (WRC1 on previous photos) at our rear garden boundary with Humfreys, OX11 9PB, we now wish to fell four of these Western Red Cedar to ground level (trees marked WRC-2 on the attached photograph WRC-2Barnwell.jpg). This is necessary to allow the erection of a fence along our shared boundary as the trunks are straddling the boundary line with Humfreys and creating excessive shade to both gardens. The area WRC-2 will be replanted with mixed native hedging and specimen trees and shrubs less prone to the effects of Armilleria, which has already resulted in the loss of several trees along this boundary (L2 and L3 on application PP08971396). The trees are located at the rear left hand boundary of the property (please refer to attached plan WRC-2 Barnwell_planview.jpg).
