Application Details
Description
Giant Redwood: TPO T16 - Reduce the limb on the car park side back by 2m-3m to reduce the pressure on the limb and reduce the likelihood of failure. Remove major deadwood throughout the crown. 2 x Ginkgo: TPO T49 - (T3 in report) Reduce crown back to near previous points, removing 4-5m from the height and removing 2-3m from the lateral spread. Remove the 2ton brace cutting into the central stem. T2 - Ginkgo - (CA) - Reduce crown back to near previous points, removing 4-5m from the height and removing 2-3m from the lateral spread. (P24/V2577/TCA) Sycamore 1763: Opposite the Giant Redwood: (CA) (P24/V2577/TCA) This tree has squirrel damage throughout and evidence of bacterial wet wood and deadwood throughout the tree. As the tree is of little significance and of poor form I would suggest removing the tree. This will mitigate the risk to the footpath and reduce the nuisance on the streetlight. I would also recommend the removal of the two self-set sycamore saplings behind the tree at the same time. Fell and treat the stumps.
