Description

All work required has been recommended by tree surgeon Tony Craddock on a visit to site. Lime 1 - pollarding required. The centre of the tree is rotten, and in danger of splitting in half. Limes 11 & 12 - reduction of height of each tree by 5m, plus removal of sections of diseased wood required. There is some decay in the trunks of each (see photos) and overall height reduction will reduce wind resistance and stress to these trees. Holly 13 - removal of tree required. It is a self sown tree and is leaning at an angle of 45 degrees towards and touching the Reading Room s north wall. Limes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 - require crown lifts to 4m. This is to improve pedestrian access and churchyard maintenance. Limes 2 & 3 s lower branches are overhanging the parking area. Lime 6 is overhanging the Reading Room garden, and it s branches almost touch the building. Limes 7, 8, & 9 s lower branches are overhanging the garden of Marquieth . Holly 14, Rowan - no work proposed on these trees.
