Description

SSE wish to prune stated trees to gain a safe clearance from 11KV overhead lines and pole. The tree clearance from the line is set out within the Electrical Safety, Quality, Continuity Regulations. These standards outline the safety distance requirement of 3m plus 3 years growth (species dependent) to allow for a 3-year growth cycle and maintain the safety of the network and apparatus over this timeframe. SSE wish to: - Remove 2 self-seeded Ash located opposite a 11KV pole (G1 Ash). - Reduce oak to be side pruned by 3.5m clearance from 11KV overhead cable (T2 Oak). - Reduce Holm Oak to be side pruned by 3.5m clearance from 11KV overhead cable (T3 Holm Oak). - Reduce Lime to be crown reduced by 5m clearance from the 11KV overhead cable (T4 Lime). (TPO G1) - Hazel to be coppiced beneath network (T1 Hazel). - All arisings to be chipped and spread into the woodland Please note all arisings will be chipped and spread within ground layer of woodland.
