Description

T1 - Black Walnut - I wish to have this tree felled and root ball removed. There are a variety of reasons for my request which together are of concern and detriment to my amenity and usefulness of my small lawn. During recent building work it was discovered that the roots have already reached the footings of my building. The danger from falling branches and particularly from the nuts and husks is considerable to family, friends and pets. Our previous gardener has cancelled our lawn care and cutting as the cutting was ruining his machinery. The tree has reached such a height and spread that it is far too large for a small garden, spoiling our ability to make good use of it. During bi-annual pruning of the tree the tree surgeon has always commented on the state of the tree and if you deem it necessary he will compile a report for you on his opinion. I have recently had the mains overhead electricity cables re-routed to my house as they were passing through the extended branches. The tree also spreads beyond my boundary wall and could cause damage or injury to pedestrians or road users. I hope all the above will assist in your decision and allow me to remove the tree. I will always be happy to plant less intrusive trees if this is a requirement.
