Description

T1 and T2. Two mature yew trees growing side by side in the rear garden. Height approx. 10 metres, crown spread approx. 4 metres each. These mature trees partially overhang the house and garage, and were last pruned several years ago when the garage was built. The trees have now grown to the point where several branch ends are close to touching the house and roof. We intend to prune back the longest ends on 5 branches to bring them back in profile with the rest of the trees, and clear of the house. This will involve removing branch ends of between 1 and 2 metres in length, leaving pruning cuts of 40 mm maximum. In addition to pruning, the trees will be inspected for physical safety, and any significant dead wood will be removed.
