Description

Lime, T1: repollard. Lime, T2: repollard. Lime, T3: repollard. T1 & T2 previously pollarded points approximately 20 years. There is now signifiant regrowth from these points which have inherently weak unions. These 2 trees overhang the village hall and car park as well as the adjacent recreation ground. T3: pollarded more recently but becoming sparse in upper crown and generating more deadwood in upper crown. Overhangs adjacent driveway where car is parked . Weeping willow, T4: reduce to a framework pollard. Tree previously reduced. Branches becoming elongated with limited choice of growth points to prune to. Framework pollard would be more suitable ongoing management practice.
