Description

Re-alignment and resurfacing of footway on the public highway with dropped kerbs. Installation of free-standing planters on the outside side of building columns either side of hotel entrance, installation of a lighting scheme to the colonnade along the Jermyn Street frontage. Alterations to the ground floor frontage including the installation of replacement doors and fixed areas of glazing facing the Jermyn Street colonnade. Installation of four sets of obscured glazed doors to restrict access to two portions of the colonnade which are to be used as ancillary accommodation to the retail (Class E(a)) restaurant (Class E(b)), theatre (Sui Generis) and the hotel (Class C1) occupying the remainder of the Criterion Building.
