Description

Installation of telecommunications cabling and associated small termination box (FDP) on the lower front elevation of the property to facilitate fibre broadband service provision. Works include the routing of external fibre cabling from a pavement node, through the boundary wall, and along the internal side of the party wall adjacent to the entrance staircase. The termination box (approx. 150mm x 150mm) has been surface-mounted near the base of a rainwater downpipe to minimise visual impact. From this termination point, a discrete cable enters the lower ground floor flat via a small, drilled hole at low level to provide service to this customer. Two additional connections to provide service to the upper flats will follow similar discreet routes from the FDP if requested. (Retrospective)
