Tree T1 - Corsican pine - Crown reduction of 15% by volumeTree T2 - Corsican pine - Crown reduction of 15% by volumeThe tree owners (Judy & Andy Brookfield) would like the works carried out because of their growing unease with regard to the size that the trees have grown to over time and the trees proximity to their property. Mr & Mrs Brookfield have commented that they are beginning to feel increasingly uncomfortable about the trees during strong wind events & storms. Both trees T1 & T2 are in both good physiological & structural condition, but is is noted in the Arbtech TCS 01 report that adaptive cambium growth/thickening was observed on a major 1st order limb of tree T1 (see plate no. 2 within TCS 01 report).I feel that is is understandable that Mr & Mrs Brookfield feel uncomfortable with trees the size of T1 & T2 in proximity to their property. The previous limb losses suffered by the trees adds to their concernI feel that a 15% crown reduction is a reasonable TPO works request & this would be a great help for the anxiety that the trees are causing them both.
