Description

We would like to remove a number of small sycamore trees that line the bank of the drainage ditch, they are preventing clear access to clear the ditch out with machinery. There is approximately 8 trees (marked A on the Damwood plan).We also would like to remove a very tall, large sycamore (marked B on the Damwood plan) within this area, see photos 'large sycamore tree'. This tree has been identified as having lots of dead wood, it is in poor condition and it also has extensive ivy growth causing a parachute effect when the winds are strong. It is also very close to the adjacent property and boundary fences. We feel this tree removal will mitigate risk of damage to near by properties, improve this area of woodland and allow under-story plants to grow. We will replant 2 more suitable trees in the area.
