Mature beechLOCATION: Private land owned by The QuarriesThe tree is situated at the bottom of the quarry and is easily viewed from the pool area of the property.REQUEST: Remove tree down to ground or veteranize and leave as standing deadwood. Replace and replant with oak or beech saplings with in private land.REASON: The bole of the stem has three large historic open wounds which have shown signs of occlusion but very unlikely to fully heal. There are also two co dominant stems. One of the stems has the potential to fall towards the property boundary wall and quarry face, thus potentially causing extensive damage to property and the integrity of the quarry face.
