DW TREECARE, upon approval, will be making safe the trees along Hall Road, from number 109 Hall Road up to Dam Lane (approximately 200m).Work to be carried out: *dead branches over the road to be removed*limbs encroaching onto the road to be removed (to a height of 5 meters)Upon inspection 4 trees were deemed to be at a risk of failing onto the highway or are at risk of hitting a tall vehicle, the following work will need to be carried out.*remove a young Rowan tree encroaching over the road (see photo 1)*remove a mature Alder with a significant lean over the road which shows movement in the root plate. (see photo 2)*remove a mature Poplar with a significant lean along side the road which shows movement in the root plate. (see photo 3 and 3a)*remove a small dead standing tree between the Poplar and Alder. (tree 4)Traffic management will be used during the 2 days work.8 broadleaf trees will be planted within the woodland to replace the one removed.
