Description

Comprehensive works to the building to include maintenance and repair and replacement of some historic and non-historic fabric (previous interventions): Roofworks - Remove existing slates and replace with new Cupa H3 slates to match existing slate sizes. Replace 2no. rooflights with conservation rooflights. Remove mortar beds at abutment flashings and replace with new Code 5 lead flashings. Chimneys render removed, re-pointed with lime and re-rendered with lime. New parapet cappings and lead valleys. New aluminium cast iron effect gutters to front elevation. Elevations: All paint and cement-based render to be carefully removed. Repointed with lime where required. Structural repairs at major cracks at elevation. Rebuild of damaged chimney. Repainting elevation with lime paint, colours to be as existing.
