Description

Replacement of existing timber windows and external doors on the main dwelling (Yarnton House) and its associated residential annexe (Yarnton Garden Cottage) with new, purpose-made double-glazed timber windows and doors. The proposed replacements are strictly 'like-for-like' in terms of materials (painted timber), opening mechanisms (flush casements), and architectural style. Special care is being taken to exactly replicate distinctive features, such as the Gothic arched window designs, and the precise width of the existing timber glazing bars to ensure no material change to the external appearance of the buildings within the Conservation Area.
